Pierce rose up the amateur ranks to become one of the best high school players in the country. Pierce made his way to the University of Kansas before being drafter 10th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 1998 NBA Draft. Pierce led the Celtics to the 2008 NBA Championship, where he was named Finals MVP. His number was retired by the Celtics in 2018, cementing his legacy as one of the great players in franchise history.
